It was during the Spanish Civil War when Forrest witnessed those hungry soldiers eating bits of chocolate covered by a hard candy shell. He was intrigued and vowed to come up with his very own version.

As soon as M&M's hit the market, people were immediately enamoured, and soon, the rest of the world would follow suit!

The likes of M&M's have melted in mouths all over the world, including Australia, Asia and Russia.
