Created in 1949, Jolly Rancher Candy made its very sweet debut by Bill and Dorothy Harmsen. This candy couple began selling ice cream but realized it was just a seasonal item. They expanded into the world of candy. Crafting one of the most iconic hard candies around!

Little did Bill and Dorothy know that this little delcioius candy would soon take the world by storm, along with every candy lover's taste buds!

The first to hit the market were the Jolly Rancher Hard Candy Originals, which contained the fruity flavors of apple, grape, and watermelon. This was followed by a spicy cinnamon taffy candy called "Fire Stix."

As the years passed, the Jolly Rancher franchise expanded to include sour candy, gummy candy, drink mixes, lollipops and more!
